Fly Spinnarz

Boys and girls let me reacquaint you with the Spinner.

These are wheel covers which spin independently of the wheel itself when the brakes are applied. Every time you put pressure on the brakes the spinners "spin" by themselves through the use of roller bearings.

My man Latrell Sprewell made it popular back in the days when he rules the NBA Hardcourt. In fact, spinners are sometimes called "Sprewells". Remember the Dada Spree? Oh yeah spinners are definitely are the most popular auto accessories. Y'all know your wheels ain' t that fly without them spinnarz.

I love this rotating chrome. Nothing beats cruisin' the streets with these shiny bling.

Bling! Bling!

This ride is Da Shiznit!

I was browsin' thru the Net when I chanced upon this ice-covered Mercedes-Benz SL-Class in a particular website. Man oh man I've gotta show this to my blog readers. This car answers my question "Got Bling?" quite bluntly.

Now I'm not really sure where this car show is, well I'm guessing Japan, but I know fo' sho that this entry is the glamorous. At a glance one would think that the Mercedes SL is covered with glitter but actually those are diamonds! They're not real of course. But this car is sure is to turn heads around the corner.

Hmm... Who would be interested in purchasing this car? Someone who loves diamonds and has tons of cash...

Oh yeah that's Hot...

Ahaha nobody but the heiress herself!

Heart of Amare

It was over a year when Hurricane Katrina unleashed its mighty force over New Orleans. It was a devastating blow to the thousands of victims who lost their homes. But as with what we've seen, the strength of the human heart proves to be triumphant over any disaster. One man stand amidst the flood.

Last year NBA Superstar Amare Stoudemire gave away 10 Toyota Prius hybrid cars to 4-H Katrina volunteer leaders. The Sun's premier center owns a Toyota dealership and wanted to contribute something for the victims of the hurricane. He saw the devotion and hard work of the volunteers and decided to select 10 out of 30 applicants.

4-H is the youth development and outreach program of the nation’s land-grant university system. 4-H provides young people with a variety of educational projects and activities designed to help them develop knowledge and skills that will benefit them throughout their lives. It is directed in Louisiana by faculty in the LSU AgCenter, but volunteer leaders across the state play vital roles in helping to reach more young people.

You may not have won the championship this year Amare but you sure has won the hearts of the people. I hope you continue to lift emptied spirits around you.

Chamillionaire's Grammy

Tryin' ta catch me Ridin' Derrty

Chamillionare and Krayzie Bone won “Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group” at the 49th Annual Grammy Awards for their #1 single Ridin'.

Well no doubt people, Chamillionaire is indeed destined for great things. As you most probably know, his music inspired me to put up a blog page that gives an inner look into the urban lifestyle. Although I focus much on cars, I'm certain that as I feature the vehicles, I also bridge the alienation of these rappers to the conventional public. Often typecasted as arrogant, illiterate and juvenile gangsters, people like Chamillionaire is a testament that rappers are hardworking, talented and most of all achievers.

Hats off to you man, yous a fine example of the hustlin' man.

Malibu's Most Wanted

Y'all remember this movie ayt? How can you not? Its hilarious as hell!

The film stars my boy JK Jamie Kennedy, Taye Diggs and Anthony Anderson. Here's the plot.

Brad Gluckman (Kennedy) is a wannabe rap star from Malibu who acts and talks like he's from the "'hood." Concerned that his son is going to embarrass him during his campaign to become the governor of California, Brad's wealthy father and his campaign manager (Underwood), hire two trained actors (Diggs and Anderson) to disguise themselves as "real life gangstaz", and kidnap his son, dropping him off in the "real hood" in Compton, in an effort to scare the ghettofied attitude and behavior out of him.

However, it soon becomes obvious the actors don't know much more about life in Compton than Brad does, and as Brad gets used to his new surroundings, he falls for a girl from the neighborhood who has her own plans for moving up in the world.

It all goes bananas in the end as eventually the "actors" came out of their pretending. Brad still is fly as he really is being true to himself. His father eventually accepted the fact that his son is all ghetto.

But what really is the greatest feature of this movie is B-Rad's Cadillac Escalade! Check out the plate, D' Shiznit. Ahaha Fo' real dawg!

I never get tired watching this movie over and over again. Haha, word up JK!

Jay Kay: Ferrari Love

Music has no boundaries. And as far as Hip Hop goes, the beat and rhymes travel far across great distances and influence the familiar soul. No matter what the culture be, as long a you have the roots of funk in your veins, you sure is to ride to the vibes of Hip hop and RnB.

Jay Kay here of my favorite jazz/funk band Jamiroquai knows what I'm talkin' about. Hailin' from Machester, England he is a living example of a man who lives the fast life.

The band's first effort, Emergency on Planet Earth, became a fast seller and introduced to the world the fascinating nature of Jamiroquai. Fusing disco, funk, reggae, hiphop and soul, the result is a unique sound that could not be imitated by others. Traveling Without Moving, their third album saw the rise of the band's popularity in meteoric proportions. Today Jamiroquai has sold over twenty million albums, and have spent 162 weeks on the UK Singles chart in the 14 years since 1992. It is reported that Jay Kay's personal wealth is around L40,000,000.

Now how does Jay Kay spend his money? Let me give you three ways.

Jay's Ferrari Enzo

Ferrari 360 Spyder

Ferrari F355

How can you not love this cat. Not only he writes and sings the songs of our generation but he also rides in full acceleration. Hats off to you Jay Kay for keeping the vibes high and funky and keeping them Ferraris fast and furious. Definitely Jay Kay is one man who love to travel fast!

The Marc Ecko Pathfinder

In the Hip Hop Culture today, there is no man that is to rival the supreme style and credibility of designer Marck Ecko. Starting out as a high school student in the mid-80's armed only with an airbrush and his innovative designs, he took pop culture by storm upon the release of his brand, ecko unltd. Today, his brands expand to 12 different clothing lines and his full-scale global fashion and lifestyle company reported billings of over $1.2 billion.

Last year Nissan's partnership with Marc Ecko created a new wave of innovation is automobile design and customization. The result is the Ecko - customized Nissan Pathfinder and Armada.

The Nissan Pathfinder

Ecko used a glossy urban warfare black-and- gray camouflage paint job with highly-contrasting orange-painted alloy rims.

The Nissan Armada

The interior: cream and tan calfskin with heavy contrast stitching on the steering wheel, doors panels and dashboard, a briefcase-inspired glove box and encased subwoofer enclosure with heavy duty straps and buckles; other special features include roadster-style gauges, metal gas and brake pedals, and a wireless communications system.

The exterior: a cream Landau roof, custom moonbaby-inspired hubs, white-wall tires and safety orange side panels.

In addition to these two custom vehicles, Marc will also be creating limited edition clothing apparel like hooded jackets, t-shirts and leather key chains.

Seems Nissan knows who to look for in terms of in tems of cutting-edge design. I'm sure this partneship will eventually influence other automobile manufacturers in developing their vehicles. As for Marc Ecko, this is another reason for us to watch out for his next projects.

High Risaz : ba-donk-a-donk-donk

Hi-Risers are custom rides that typically are American-built sedan modified to increase ground clearance with the addition of larger-diameter wheels with low-profile tires.

Originally out of the Derrty South the “Donk” has spread out to the entire United States. Cruisin' on 20” to 30” chromed out wheels, the High Riser turns heads in jealousy with their phat custom paint and loud sound systems. The most popular vehicles for these types of modifications are full-size Chevrolet models, namely the Impala, Caprice and Monte Carlo.

Trick Daddy originated the expression “Donk Rider”. If ever you'll be at downtown South Florida holla at the boys, but be careful... they play straight in the Derrty South so be down with the “Donk”!

X to the Z

Born Alvin Nathaniel Joiner IV on September 18, 1974 in Detroit, Michigan, Xzibit was raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico by his father and stepmother. Growing up without his biological mother by his side Alvin constantly got in trouble. In his teens, Alvin moved to LA in search for a career in the music industry. Little did he know that this decision would be life changing.

Xzibit got his start as a member of the Likwit crew, a group of west coast rappers including Tha Alkaholiks and King T. His 1st album, At The Speed of Life, was released in 1996 and quickly became an underground hit. His 2nd album 40 Dayz & 40 Nightz proved that X is one of the most promising talents of the West Coast circa '96.

In what proved to be the catalyst in his rap career, X's collaboration with Snoop Dogg in “Bitch Please” catapulted Xzibit into West Coast royalty alongside Dr. Dre, Snoop, Ice Cube and Eminem. His 3rd album Restless, produced by Dr. Dre, boasted the rapper's biggest hit single “X” which went on to become an urban anthem.

Following his musical success, Xzibit tool his skills into the silverscreen. X appeared in Eminem's critically-acclaimed movie 8 Mile. MTV executives recgnized the on screen charisma and gave X an opportunity that opened new horizon in Xzibit's path. MTV Pimp my Ride gained worldwide success thanks to the charm and personality X brings onscreen. The show is now broadcasting in over 40 countries and his fanbase continues to grow.

After a guest role in CSI: Miami, X went on to star with friend and mentor Ice Cube in 2005's XXX: State of the Union. In the movie Derailed, X starred along side Jeniffer Aniston and Clive Owen. For his first costarring role, X plays Malcolm Moore with no one else but the Rock.

Who knows what Xzibit will do next? Hmm.. Theatre? Oh hell yeah I'll stick around for that. Anyways, shout out to X for his success and the love for bling. Let's crip on to the sound of X!
