Chamillionaire at the DUB Auto Show

Last year, when our guy was just about hit it big with Ridin' Dirty, Chamillionaire showcased one his favorite rides.. his custom Impala.

Not only that, the show featured the rising stars of the Houston hip-hop community. Paul Wall, Slim Thug, Lil' Keke, Chingo Bling, and Trae all rocked the stage. There were plenty of exotic rides on display, and DJs Rapid Ric and Lady Tribe kept the music pumping.

"Ma music so Loud!"

Well the '07 Dub auto show has just finished its Dallas tour and I heard great thangz that happened. I'll be posting the event here, so be sure to check back with Jkewlz!

What it is Busta?

When Busta Rhymes ain't making platinum records he's out with his Flipmode Squad tweaking his beloved customer rides.

Busta is known in the entire hiphop scene as a man who truly loves his cars. Here is an excerpt from an interview by the guys at nobody smiling with Busta himself.

Nobodysmiling.com : Confidence has always been something that you personify in everything you do, videos, shows, was this something you had to work at or were you always confident as a kid?

Busta Rhymes : I think my passion and my conviction and I am stubborn in a certain way and I am very determined, if I want something and I believe in it, it is very difficult to deter me from the way I am thinking and the way I am feeling and the way I am seeing shit and in my mind I am the best mofo then that is what I am going to portray, you know that is my thought process so people are made to believe that what I am feeling is not just a feeling but a fact and I am willing to do what I need to do to show and prove and make sure that it is evident, obvious that I am one of the best to ever do this shit. You can only deliver on that level if you believe in you.

Nobodysmiling.com : So when you get time to relax, how do you spend that time?

Busta Rhymes : I lay around and watch TV, satellite TV.

What are your favorite shows?

Busta Rhymes : All five of the HBO's. I love A&E and The Discovery Channel as they be showing some real crazy shit on those man. I sit around and I watch TV and listen to music, just do normal shit. You know and if I don’t feel like being in the crib I just go and drive one of the many cars that I have, I love to wash my own car, love to detail my own car, wax and buff my own car and then once I have got it cleaned up and looking real nice I like to drive real slow and cause a load of traffic (laughing.)

So you see Busta loves his blings. He personally tend to his car's maintenance, something that is very rare with the celebrities of today.

Fat Joe's Caddy

With 2001's release of Jealous Ones Still Envy (J.O.S.E.). Fat Joe right here scored two back to back hits with “We Thuggin'” which featured R&B superstar R. Kelly singing the chorus and the billboard chat topper “What's Luv” which featured up and coming R&B pop princess Ashanti in its chorus and went on to become one of 2002's biggest pop hits.

Of course as for many Rap superstars, after success comes the bling bling. Check out his fly rims on the Cadillac Escalade.

Well it ain't over for Fat Joe. The latino heavyweight still has a lot of beats to drop...

Hyphy and Ghost Ridin' the Whip

Hyphy (Hi-fee) is the West Coast crunk. The gritty, intense, pounding rhythms emerged from the San Franciso Bay area and crossed the states setting new trends in the hip hop industry. Basically, all you need to get “hyphy” is to get “crazy”.

And one thing peculiar to the hyphy movement is to “ghost ride the whip”.

Yep, buses too

What you do is you put the “whip” into neutral and allow it to just cruise. Exit the vehicle while it is still rolling and do a crip walk beside it or if you're that fly, you dance on the roof.

Yeah that's how Hyphy goes. Well ghost ridin' aint that safe you know. Some people are even calling it stupid. I haven't tried it but it won't hurt to just do it once I suppose. Again its all Hyphy.

This is what you get for Ridin' Dirty

Paris Hilton does live life on the edge but let's see where Princess Bling goes.

Paris Hilton has been charged with two misdemeanors – driving under the influence and driving with a blood-alcohol level of .08 or higher. The heiress, who has been driving her silver Mercedes-Benz SLR in Hollywood, took a Breathalyzer test showing her blood alcohol level to be 0.08, the minimum required for a DUI arrest in California.

Now if you think this will tame the bad girl, well again we were proven wrong. Paris violated her probation and was sentenced to 45 days in JAIL! You go girl.

Well I really got lost on the story after that. She went to prison, went out and was confined to her mansion and was sent out to prison again. Whoaa that ought to teach the heiress a lesson. I mean hey, I've never been to jail yet I know how tough it is. Well fortune and fame has its price you know. As far I go, once I see the po-po around the corner, Jkewlz flies as fast a fighter jet...

That's life sweetheart

Tmac and his Spyder

Tracy Mcgrady is the NBA's premier all around player. I'm sure you know that this superstar has it all. He can pull up a 3-point shot with your hands up his face, he break your ankles with a killer crossover, worse he can thunder jam a tomahawk in your face. TMac is a bad cat.

Now when it comes to the urban pavement, the Rocket's superstar is just as dynamic.
Ferrari dynamic

His is the F1, which is an elite 360 version that uses a six-speed gear box controlled via paddle shifters on the steering wheel (like the big-time F1 race cars). MSRP for the vehicle is a cool $350K - that's like McGrady's per diem money for a full NBA season or something.

Well the cager does know how to live in the fast lane. Both on and off-court. Question is, when will Tmac get the ultimate NBA bling. An NBA championship ring.

Say Hello to my Little Friend

"Oh no it's Tony. Run and Hide maricons!"

Man oh man. Show me someone who thinks he knows what gangsta is and haven't seen Scarface and I'll smack him with a metal pipe.

I'm not really a fan of diecast models but this one right here I gotta have. This model is a Scarface 1963 Cadillac 1/18 with a Tony Montana figure series from diecast maker Jada Toys. Retails price is $34.97

Man my Tony ain't clowning around, 24 years after its shown it has been a cult icon and an inspiration to a true gangsta. Hey don't do coke and don't shoot your friends...

Punk Rulez!

Recently, DUB magazine has released these PHAT PHAT pictures of punk superstar Travis Barker and his 2007 DUB Edition Cadillac Escalade. And you know what... I'm freakin' speachless!

The rims man, the rims!

Wooho! Check them grillz

White boy sure knows his 2007 Escalade

Well punk boy Travis ain't no stranger when it comes to hip hop. He actually got influenced with rhymes of NWA when he was growing up. Today, he collaborates with most of the hip hop stars like The Game, Bun B and Def Jam mogul Jermaine Dupri.

Well I hope the boys of Blink 182 will reunite once again. Frankly I do miss their explicit lyrics and punk riffs.

Cheers to you Travis and to your "punk'd" Escalade.
